Association of Sworn Court Interpreters and Legal Translators of Slovenia After having been announced at the EULITA conference in 2009 (Antwerp) the Slovene Association of Sworn Court Interpreters and Legal Translators of Slovenia (Združenje stalnih sodnih tolmačev in pravnih prevajalcev Slovenije) was founded in February 2012 (cofounder and president Viktorija Osolnik Kunc). So far the association has over 70 members (out of 900 sworn court interpreters for 28 languages). The association works closely with the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration of the Republic of Slovenia who is in charge of the examination of court interpreters and provides a register of all court interpreters. The association's website will be soon also available in English.
